Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) A locking range of sub-harmonic injection-locked oscillator is inversely proportional to the frequency ratio between injection signal and output signal, therefore the phase noise suppression becomes less effective when the frequency ratio is large. This paper proposes novel sub-harmonic injection-locked oscillator, which uses injection signal generated from multiple phase shifted reference signals. The proposed sub-harmonic injection-locked oscillator is demonstrated using SiGe-BiCMOS process, realizing low phase noise characteristics compared to the conventional circuit.
