User satisfaction assessment method based on user expectation

(in English) To ensure that video communication services meet the high expectations of end users, various assessment methods for user satisfaction has been developed. User quality of experience (QoE) assessment methods for video services has been proposed. However, to assess user satisfaction properly we have to consider the negative discrepancy between expected and perceived service the worse the service will be rated. We defined a framework to quantify user satisfaction and have proposed a QoE assessment method for mobile video service based on user preferences, video quality, motivation, and level of motivation achievement. In this study, we propose a user satisfaction assessment method considering the discrepancy between expected and perceived service. From the subjective test results we clarified the relationship between discrepancy and user satisfaction.
