A Cooperative Routing Method with Shared Nodes for Overlapped Wireless Sensor Networks

(in English) In a wireless sensor network(WSN), one of the most important challenges
is to extend the network lifetime, since it is difficult to replace sensor node, and recharge the battery.
In a WSN, nodes around a sink tend to die earlier than other nodes
since such nodes have to transmit much more packets. To overcome this problem, many load balancing methods were proposed.
By the way, in recent years, two or more overlapped WSNs have been constructed on the same geographic area. In this situation, it is expected for the overlappped WSNs to extend their lifetime by cooperative packet forwarding.
In this paper, we introduce shared nodes with multi-channel communication capability. With these shared nodes, we propose a cooperative routing method to balance load with each other WSNs. Finally, we show the effectiveness of the proposed method by simulation experiments.
