Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) In this paper, we investigated a spectrum sharing technique based on Channel Occupancy Rate (COR) information of the Primary Users (PUs)
by the Secondary Users (SUs).
%
Both PUs and SUs perform based on the IEEE 802.11 MAC protocol, i.e., CSMA/CA.
%
COR indicates the temporal channel occupancy and it is approximately equivalent to the throughput performance.
%
Thus, a purpose of the spectrum sharing technique is the maximization of SU COR under a constraint of PU COR protection.
%
In a related work, an optimum minimum CW based on COR has been derived analytically.
%
In the analysis it assume no collision, however this is not practical assumption and in the case of higher collision probability this analysis is not valid.
%
Therefore, in this paper, we propose the minimum CW setting method based on estimated COR and collision probability.
%
For the collision probability estimation, we introduce two methods.
%
In the first one, it assumes that the PU collision can be detected by SU perfectly.
%
In the second one, SU can detect a collision but not possible to recognize either a PU collision or not.
%
By computer simulations, we have shown that the proposed method can protect PUs even if there are multiple PUs.
