Node Location-Aware MAC Scheduling Scheme for Periodic Transmission in Wide-area Wireless Networks

(in English) In wide-area wireless networks, suppose that IEEE802.11DCF is used as MAC protocol where a huge number of nodes periodically communicates each other, frame collision would occur frequently, thereby degrading transmission performance.
However, some literatures show the ”capture effect” in wireless environment, i.e., when frames are transmitted simultaneously from some nodes whose distances are relatively large, other nodes can receive only one of them from the nearest transmission node due to the difference of signal strength.
Thus in this paper, we examine the time-divison scheduling for periodically communication in wireless networks and propose some node allocation schemes on divided time slots based on its location information to improve frame receiving rate with the capture effect in such environment that many nodes are assigned concentrically.
