| (in English) | Location aware information delivery is useful application, which automatically distribute information such as weather forecast, disaster information and advertisement to a user based on their location. Service provider have to periodically observe users’ device location and deliver information related to the location to user, there are no public service or infrastructure available for the purpose. In this paper, we propose LBM (Location based Multi- cast), which is implemented fully on the Internet. We present new IPv6 multicast address for the LBM. We call the address GALMA, Geographically Aggregatable Location based Multicast Address. GALMA has hierarchical area specification and route aggregation in its structure like unicast IP address. We evaluate the number of generated addresses in individual level and update ratio of the address by using massive trajectory data (including 722,000 subjects). The result shows that maximum update ratio of the address is 11% or less of total devices. We also discuss membership management and routing/forwarding mechanism for LBM. | |
