(in English) In recent years, peer-to-peer (P2P) video content delivery services (P2PTV) have attracted an attention followed by a rapid growth of the demand of video delivery that certainly increases network load. P2PTV distributes the server load by using P2P communication for data transmission and can thus establish low-cost and scalable video delivery network. However, P2PTV applications do not take the physical network topology into account and may lead unnecessary traffic straddling on some internet service providers. For realizing more efficient communication on P2PTV, this paper proposes a novel traffic localization method by controlling packet loss. The effectiveness of the proposed method is validated by evaluating a P2PTV application called PPStream.
