| (in English) | Recently many youngsters suffer depression. The symptoms are autonomous negative thinking, misunderstanding of the systematic expectations, the schema for the depressions, the problems of rehabilitation, the issue for the lack of communications, and impediment of sleep-arousal cycle. New computer treatment method using computer games has been proposed. But a player does not know whether they are recovered or not, and he/she can’t keep his/her motivation. In addition, the youngsters do not go to the hospital. There are some differences of electroencephalograms (EEG) between the healthy persons and the depression patients. In the present report, we have developed the self-mental rehabilitation system for the depression patients using 3D-RPG. The system sends EEG of the players to the doctors through internet, and saves it to database. We hope that the present self-mental rehabilitation system can be useful for many young depression patients. | |
