[Special Talk] Practical trend of Augmented Reality in Medical field

(in English) Augmented Reality (AR) technologies are not yet spreading readily in the medical treatment field, even though their purposes and significance are postulated. In this paper, the practical development of AR system are noted with some examples, e.g. stereo-microscope, stereo-endoscope system, X-CT or MRI guided image overlay system, and autostereoscopic display and its clinical trials. More, the important specifications required for medical use and the technology trends and future estimations in this field are described.
