This paper proposes an exercise system through a remote control of a legged type mobile robot, and investigates a usefulness of the system.
Operator's motions give robot's commands, and typical motions corresponding to the robot's commands are set in advance.
In the proposed system, operator's motions are converted to the robot's commands by using a motion capture device 'Kinect'.
To ensure the validity of the proposed exercise system, several experiments using it were conducted.
As a result, the effectiveness of the proposed concept was demonstrated by a center of gravity of a body and a heart beat.
