We have proposed a self-organized virtual topology control method that is adaptive to environmental changes in a network, such as link and node failures or traffic changes, in the previous work. It is based on attractor selection, which models the biological systems that behave adaptively against changes in their surrounding environments. We have shown that our method is adaptive to changes in network environments through simulation. In this paper, we implement our proposed method and evaluate it on a small testbed. Through experiments, we show that our proposed method adaptively responds to changes in traffic. |
