(in English) Motivation for learning modification is defined by the complex of teaching strategies and personal characteristics of the learner. Since the teaching strategies ignored learners’ status cause the various modifications of the motivation, it is difficult to decide more suitable teaching strategies for lecture. To consider of this problem, we propose a method of estimating the motivation for learning modification, in order to support the choosing teaching strategies for lecture. We adopt the ARCS model defined by Keller for estimate the learning motivation. To estimate of the motivation for learning modification, we designed the non-deterministic finite-state automaton considered the transition probability in a path. We set a prior probability distribution, which included the relation of four parameters in ARCS model, each of the four characters stands for Attention, Relevance, Confidence, and Satisfaction, respectively. To update it, we adopted the Bayesian estimation by using observational results.
