High definition of medical ultrasound images is strongly required. Recently, study of ultrasonic imaging using a second harmonic has been advanced for this purpose. However, the living body has the property of frequency dependent attenuation (FDA). And FDA is a problem that cannot be ignored when using the second harmonic. In this study, we have proposed a method to obtain echo signals ideal, after having received the distortion due to FDA by modulating the transmission signal. |
