Routing Control Scheme for Wireless Sensor-actuator Network with On-demand Power Control Function and its Evaluation

(in English) Radio-On-Demand wireless Sensor Actuator Network (ROD-SAN) is based on Radio-On-Demand (ROD) system, which the authors previously proposed for saving the power consumptions and the radio resources. Each ROD-SAN node with on-demand power-saving mechanism go to sleep at the appropriate time and transition to the active state when it receives a wake-up signal from other ROD-SAN nodes. In this paper, we propose a novel routing control scheme, which reduces latency and extends network lifetime based on RPL (IPv6 Routing Protocol for Low-Power and Lossy Networks) in ROD-SAN. Simulation results show that the proposed scheme achieves low latency and long network lifetime.
