A centralized ECU (Electronic Control Unit), where a many-core system
functions as a set of several conventional automotive ECUs, has been
studied recently. We have developed a multi-chip NoC
(Network-on-Chip) based platform for a centralized ECU, and have been
implementing its evaluation kit. This report describes its hardware
structure, its dependable task execution scheme, and a tool for
developing application software for the scheme. Finally, some
evaluation results for an integrated attitude control system for a
four-wheel drive car are shown. |
