Sparsity of Complex-Valued Neural Networks in Fading Channel Prediction

(in English) Channel prediction is an important step for channel compensation in fading environment. Previously, we proposed a channel prediction method based on complex-valued neural networks (CVNNs). In this paper, we introduce sparse representation to weight update of CVNNs. This adoption presents a new dynamics adjusting the network structure depending on changes of communication environment. We realize an adaptive and highly accurate channel prediction method. A series of simulations demonstrate the proposed method has better performance than those of the conventional methods.
