This report develops a method for mathematical modeling of temperature distribution in an office incorporated with data sampled by human sensors. This method is based on a standard two-dimensional heat diffusion
equation with an effective diffusion coefficient. The effective coefficient changes in time and space, and is determined with proper orthonormal decomposition of human-sensor data that represent spatio-temporal dynamics of human occupants in the office. The developing method is evaluated by comparing numerical simulations with measured data in a commercial building. |
