Design of Feeding Circuit for Double Loop Antenna Mountable on Conductors

(in English) The feeding circuit constructed of microstrip line for a double loop antenna was proposed. First, the target characteristics of the double loop antenna were set by electromagnetic field simulator. Next, the feeding circuit is designed and optimized. The bandwidth of the reflection of -10 dB is 410 MHz around the operational frequency of 12.5 GHz. In addition, the current amplitude of each loop element is controlled by the width of the coupled line for the outer loop. The characteristics of the fabricated double loop antenna were measured and compared with those of the simulated results, and the differences between them was discussed.
