This paper reports a development of WPT for moving vehicle. The targets are low electromagnetic emission,high efficiency and large air gap that have trade-off. We achieved a low emission 2kW WPT with 0.2-0.6m air gap(pavement type) and 1-2m air gap(side wall type) and 80% coil to coil efficiency. We employed flux intensity to evaluate transmitter coil with various number of loops. We found even number of loops emit more when it has aluminum and ferrite “shield” on back than without shield. This WPT should be enlarged to 14kW and is estimated to be driven by 1000V at the receiver coil, when it is applied to a practical passenger car in everyday use including highway. |
