We analyzed the quality factor of a quartz-crystal tuning fork using cantilever model and L-shaped bar model which considered piezoelectricity of quartz crystal. As a result of analyzing the quality factor, it has turned out that the calculated quality factor falls down about 3~4% of the calculated one by two models which did not considered piezoelectricity and approaches nearer to the measured quality factor than the calculated one by former analysis. |
