Hand-over note is a very important media to share awareness in elderly care facilities to provide high quality service. However useful awareness is usually implicit and based on the experience and intuition of care workers gathered over many years, which makes it difficult to pass on experience and related know-how to a novice. To capture these field community intelligence, we have conducted text-mining on hand-over text. This presentation describes preliminary results of hand-over note text-mining which lead to changes of work-flow and improvement of the quality of care service. |
