Cognitive Dysfunction patients are sometimes unable to drive with safety check action by symptoms such as attention disorders. We believe that this safety check action is related to the characteristics of the intersections. We experimented using real cars on a private course with the subjects equipped with wearable sensors. It revealed the difference of non-handicapped person and Cognitive Dysfunction in the safety check action at some intersections. In addition, we investigated the "action sequence of changing lanes" and the "deceleration tendency for planned slowdown from high-speed running." As a result, we confirmed the difference of the deceleration tendency between Cognitive Dysfunction patients and non-handicapped person. Totally, it is hopeful to obtain the driving safety check action specific to the Cognitive Dysfunction patients from wearable sensors and car installed sensors. |
