Performance Evaluation for HetNet as parameters of CSO on CRE and Pico-eNB Transmission Power under Higher Traffic Condition

(in English) We discuss about heterogeneous network (HetNet) to increase system capacity in LTE–Advanced and beyond. Cell Range Expansion (CRE) is expected to significantly assist in the deployment of HetNets, since it will be important to determine which access is better for UEs to communicate with Macro or Pico cells. This paper proposes a cooperative control method between CSO on CRE and Pico-eNB (PeNB) transmission power (TP) to improve user throughput when the amount of traffic within cells increased. Average user throughput and 5 % user throughput performance are provided as parameters of CSO and PeNB TP by using system level simulation.
