| 抄録 | （和） | 本研究では，絵本の中の死をめぐって大人と子どもがどのような相互作用をしているのか，その実態を捉えるため，3歳8ヶ月～6歳8ヶ月の幼児とその母親29組が「きつねのおきゃくさま」を読み合う場面の観察研究を行った．結果，絵本の中の死をめぐって言語的あるいは非言語的相互作用が行われていること，その多くは母親によって開始されることが明らかになった．相互作用の内容は死んでしまった事実に対する言及が多く，死んで天国にいくという非現実的な説明はほぼなされていなかった．また，死に対して「かわいそう」「悲しい」などといった感想を述べる母親も一定数見られ，死に対する母親の価値観が子どもへ伝達されている可能性が示唆された。 |
| （英） | This article examines mother-child interactions in regard to death in picture books through the use of an observational study. Participants consisted of 29 mothers and their children (ages 3 years 8 months -6 years 8 months old). Both the mothers and the children reacted to death both verbally and non-verbally and most of the interactions were initiated by the mothers. In regard to the content, mothers referred to the fact that the character had died and non-realistic explanations that the character could go to heaven were seldom found. In addition, the mothers described their impressions of death, with phrases such as "What a pity!" or "very sad." This suggests that mothers’ values in regard to death can be transmitted to the children from the mothers. | |
