Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) In this paper, for the purpose of bicycle fall motion detection by sensing, We studied technique for detecting acceleration and angular velocity, to determine the normal operation, fall operation of the bicycle from the acceleration sensor and a gyro sensor mounted on the bicycle. It was revealed to be able to detect the dangerous behavior which leads to fall of a bicycle by more than 97 % of precision in the acceleration of the left and right direction and the roll angular velocity according to the fall experiment which had 5 subjects slam on the brakes during turning movement.
