Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) In TDMA-based multihop wireless networks, we need to assign time slots to links according to their traffic load, that is determined by traffic demands of client terminals as well as the network topology itself.
Therefore, the network topology and the client terminal accommodation are key factors for network performance improvement.
In this report, we first give the analytical evaluation results on the impact of the network topology including client terminal accommodation on the performance of TDMA-based multihop wireless networks.
We also define a problem of network topology construction as a combinatorial optimization problem and propose a network topology construction method to obtain enough network performance by solving the problem with a heuristic algorithm.
Evaluation results show that the packet transmission delay can be reduced by $20$ % in average and the network capacity can be increased by up to $43$ % when using the proposed method, as compared with the simple network topology.
