We have constructed a system that realizes efficient temperature and airflow sensing in data center by autonomous navigation robot with a laser range sensor. New temperature and airflow measurement structures are implemented for data center environmental sensing. Design concepts of environmental sensing robot and experimental results of navigation, mapping, temperature sensing and airflow sensing with a first prototype robot are reported. |
