A Study on Decision Feedback Channel Estimation Scheme Using Terminal Speed for Single-Carrier Frequency Domain Equalization

(in English) SC-FDE is effective in adoption of uplink transmission which requires low cost transmitter thanks to both low PAPR and the robustness against frequency selective fading channels. In application of SC-FDE to DFCE, channel estimation has to be carried out even in data symbol transmission. In this report, we propose an adaptive forgetting factor control scheme for DFCE. The feature of the proposed approach is to theoretically derive the effect of time selective fading by using the terminal speed and to provide the appropriate forgetting factor according to the actual channel condition. The effectiveness of the proposed scheme is demonstrated in comparison with the traditional DFCE with the fixed forgetting factor by means of computer simulations.
