Analysis of mental model formed by confused knowledge of novice learners in pointer learning of C language

(in English) Learning programming with C language is popular, but novice learners give up studies in pointer of C language. According to past study support systems in Japan, the system imposed questions on a leaner and provide contents what is connected directly with the wrong point for learner. If learners study a complex subject as pointer, the system should provide a combined information for learners to reform mental model of learners. On this study, we focus on pointer of C language, we will develop the system that supposes type of mental model of learner and provides adapted contents to fit type of mental model for learner. In this paper, we considered knowledge necessary to reform mental model for novice learner who has wrong mental model.
