Support for the foreign students' Content Understanding about Mathematics in Japanese Language -- about "Infinitesimal Calculus" and "Linear Algebra" --

(in English) For foreign students, difference of vocabulary, definition, concept, mathematical ability, and curriculum difference between countries can be the cause for difficulty in learning mathematics in Japanese. Studies in mathematical education for foreign students using Japanese has been mainly regarding language aspects, and not much about its contents. So for my master’s course, I plan to try to find and study the key which leads to content understanding, mainly in infinitesimal calculus and linear algebra. These are the basic courses in university mathematics and a necessity in learning science and technology. Here, I will summarize my current investigation on prior researches and my own study plans on the subject.
