| 抄録 | （和） | 本研究は，教室指導を受けずに日本語を習得し，社会参加を果たした日本語学習者に関する質的研究である．特に，近年増加傾向にあるインド人ビジネスパーソンに焦点を当て，4名の半構造化インタビューを行い，ネットワークの観点から分析・考察を行った．その結果，一人一人の日本語経験や習得プロセス，多様な社会参加の過程を経て，従来の言語学習の範疇には入れられてこなかった異文化調整能力や異文化適応能力を身に着けていることがわかった．そして，こうした能力は，学習者と彼ら/彼女らを取り巻く他者や環境との関係の中で形成されていることも明らかになった．また，どの学習者も，文法積み上げ式といった日本語教育の従来型の学習法とは異なり，実際使用場面に根ざした業界用語を中心に，習得順序や制限のない，自由で自律的な学びを創出している点が共通していた． |
| （英） | In this paper, we report on a qualitative research about Japanese learners who successfully participated in Japanese society without formal education of the Japanese language, focusing on four Indian business persons, with whom we conducted semi-structured interviews. I analyzed the data gathered in terms of their social networking. Throughout their exposure to and experiences in the Japanese society, acquisition of the language and various social participation, they obtained abilities for cross-cultural adjustment adaptation ability, which had not been given proper status in language learning so far. These abilities were formed in relations to other participants in their surrounding communities. Different from typical Japanese learner experiences within schools, such as those based on buildup approach, all learners created independent and autonomous learning experiences without fixed order of acquisition or vocabulary restrictions. | |
