Singing Voice Comparison between Novice and Professional Singers by Acoustic Features related to Singing Skill

(in English) The purpose of this study is to establish a teaching method of singing based on acoustic features of singing voice. We focus on three parameters: peak sharpness of the Singer's formant (Q-factor), height of second convex of LPC spectrum and ratio of second convex to whole LPC spectrum, as acoustic features of the singing voice. In this paper, we show you results of long-term training (18 months) for novice singers. Then, acoustic features of some professional singers using our three parameters are also shown. Finally, we consider the relation between our three parameters and singing skill development.
