ICT-based evacuation drill aims at making participants virtually experience difficulties in evacuation by presenting location-based digital materials that represent disaster situations using GPS-enabled mobile computers. In this study, we proposed new disaster education through designing the ICT-based evacuation drill and have developed an authoring (designing) system for the ICT-based evacuation drill. This system aims at improving not only situational and audio-visual realities in the drill but also imagination about disasters, and supports disaster information submission, evacuation scenario creation, and slideshow creation. |
