Detecting Overlapped Signals for Radio Wave Interference Visualization

(in English) As IoT(Internet of things) systems are increasing, data communication may often be disturbed because of radio frequency interference among the IoT radio systems. We developed a method which can visualize interference of radio wave. The method can mitigate the interference-related problem, using the occupancy of standards. In the congested spectrogram, where signals overlap each other, conventional methods estimate the lower occupancy of standards. In this study, we propose a detection algorithm for overlapped signals which measured the time length, the bandwidth, and the center frequency of signals. In order to detect overlapped signals, the rise time and fall time of signals are searched by using the gradation of the spectrogram in the temporal domain, and the spectral features are obtained by connecting the rise and fall time in the frequency domain. In the result of experiments, we showed the precision of estimating the occupancy of standards was improved compared with the conventional method.
