Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) The Coherent Ising Machine is the Ising model using a network of lasers with binary oscillation conditions. By mapping the MAX-CUT problem onto the network, and the Coherent Ising Machine can get the solution as the ground state of the Ising model. There is a technique that solves the combinatorial optimization problem using the Hopfield-Tank Neural Network, and the method for driving this neural network on the Coherent Ising Machine has been proposed. In this paper, we propose a method for solving the resource allocation problem in a wireless communication network including the direct communication between mobile communication terminals called Device-to-Device communication by using the Coherent Ising Machine. The optimal resource assignment by the Coherent Ising Machine improves the average throughputs of the mobile terminals random resource allocation.
