Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Feeding damages caused by harmful vermins, such as monkeys and wild boars, become serious in farms and gardens adjacent to forests. So, it is necessary to detect appearance of vermins in order to repel them. In this research, we studied and designed a semi-permanent operable vermin detection system utilizing solar cells. Moreover, we evaluated the effectiveness of the power supply circuit which is designed for this system with energy harvesting technologies. Currently, we are conducting field trials. In future works, we will wait for the reappearance of the target monkey and analyze the data.
