Method of transient signal analysis and its application to switching noise

(in English) We are investigating methods of characterizing electric noise to identify the source of the electric noise. For the purpose, we are investigating methods based on the linear predictive coding. We applied the method to characterizing acoustic noise, and we developed a spectral analyzer which displays spectrum based on the method. The linear predictive coding is effective to obtain characteristic frequencies of the noise, but there are some drawbacks on the standard method of the linear predictive coding. For example, we cannot obtain the power of each characteristic frequency, and we cannot analyze transient noise. Therefore, we have developed a modified linear predictive coding which is free from above drawbacks. We show our modified method, and we apply the method to the analysis of the noises on power lines.
