In this paper, we propose a method for automatically separating moving objects and background from video. Research to remove and restore a object by motion analysis has been widely performed. However, conventional methods were restricted to only specific object and selection manually. The purpose of this research is to remove moving objects by using spatio-temporal image and clustering processing for video taken with fixed camera. The moving object was removed by replacing the moving object with the average value of the maximum cluster. Experimental results using sample video and sports video taken in university have shown the effectiveness of the proposed method. |
