Irregular vegetables are vegetables which size, color, shapes and quality that do not conform to standards. Farmers are unable to market the irregular vegetables; therefore disposing them which has become a problem. In this paper, we propose a recipe extraction algorithm to reduce the waste volume of the irregular vegetables. We assume that retail shops and farmer's markets use the algorithm, and it extracts recipes to utilize the vegetables brought by the farmers to the fullest. The inputs of the algorithm are the name of a vegetable, which shop staffs want to use, and a maximum cooking capacity. The goal of the proposal are the acceleration of local production of fresh vegetable for local consumption and the improvement of the food self-sufficiency ratio by cooking side dishes with the irregular vegetables and selling them in the shops. |
