Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) The electromagnetic environment for in-vehicle sensors has been getting worse as the vehicle becomes more electrified and the number of in-vehicle electronic devices increases. Improvement of noise immunity of in-vehicle sensors has become the urgent issue. We examined an application of the balanced detection technique to pressure sensor signal detection. In the balanced detection technique, the detection unit is always controlled to keep a balanced state. Therefore, when noise is mixed into the detection unit, the injection noise is treated as in-phase noise, so signal fluctuation due to noise can be suppressed. We fabricated an IC using this technique and attained the target output drift ± 0.3% F.S. or less in the DPI and BCI tests.
