(in English) PLC (Power Line Communications) is a communications technology that can easily build out a LAN because a power line is used a transmission line. However, major technical standard-compliant PLC systems used in Japan are standardized by each standardizing organization, and detailed specifications and IP communications quality are not disclosed. Therefore, the authors have study on visualization of communication situation and communication quality evaluation by experimental packet capture analysis using UPA system, HD-PLC system, HomePlug AV system. In this paper, we evaluate IP communications quality during UDP transmission in PLC systems with different technical standards.
