The development of X band 2.8Gbps dual polarization downlink satellite communication

(in English) his paper describes the development of a 2.8Gbps X-band transmitter (XTX) and dual circularly polarized wave antenna. The communication standard of XTX is DVB-S2X. When we use 64APSK (coding rate = 11/15) with 300Msps symbol rate. This paper describes key points of ultra high speed transmitter such as power amplifier bias condition (AM-AM performance, AM-PM performance, third order distortion), heat transport (FPGA, DA converter). For realizing dual circularly polarized wave, we designed high cross polarization discrimination (XPD) antenna using ANSYS/HFSS finite element electromagnetic field software. The antenna is composed of septum type polarizer, and corrugated horn antenna. Measured XPD was higher than 37dB using polarization pattern method. We are trying to prepare for ground station. The ground station has 55dBi gain and 50K system noise.
