Infrared imaging is disturbed by nonuniformity of infrared focal plane array. In this paper, a novel algorithm based on trainable partial differential equations is proposed through a loss-based approach for nonuniformity correction. Firstly, spatial regularization term that exploits the correlation between the scene and the nonuniformity is embodied in the loss model. Employing the minimization strategy and learning strategy, all the parameters in the model are simultaneously trained from training samples via an optimal control technique. Results from infrared image sequences corrupted with simulated and real nonuniformity show that the proposed approach has a competitive performance compared with state-of-the-art methods |
