| (in English) | Currently, mobile devices(nodes) are equipped with cellular and short range ad hoc connections. In addition, a wireless multi-hop network that does not depend on base stations attracts attention, and application running on the wireless multi-hop network are being developed. However, in the developments and verification of these applications, it is not easy to confirm the wireless connection between nodes and the wireless network topology. The purpose of this study is to confirm node information and network topology of a wireless multi-hop network constructed by wireless nodes. In this study, we developed a network status visualizing system to visualize and confirm the node information and the network topology of a wireless multi-hop network. The network status visualizing system consists of a log server that manages the node information of a wireless multi-hop network and a PC on which the visualizing software is running. Each node generates a log message including its own operation status, and then, sends it to the log server. The visualizing software gets the information of nodes by accessing to the log server. After getting the node information, it visualizes the connection between the node the neighboring nodes. From the field experiments, we confirmed that the network status visualizing system can visualize the node information and connection status between nodes in a wireless multi-hop network. |
