Investigation of Electromagnetic Noise Suppression for Automotive Wiring Harness Using Dielectric Material

(in English) With the spread of HV and EV vehicles, wideband electromagnetic noise generated from in-vehicle wire harnesses has become a problem, and effective measures are required. In this report, transmission characteristics are measured and analyzed using the FDTD method in order to investigate the noise suppression effect when a dielectric loss material is inserted into a wire harness. The transmission characteristics are able to be reduced in the GHz band by using a dielectric material based on water. Analysis of the effects of relative permittivity and conductivity on transmission characteristics revealed that the reduction effect did not change with the relative permittivity, and that the reduction effect is obtained when the conductivity is 1 S / m or more. became. From the above results, it can be said that a material having a conductivity of 1 S / m in a wide frequency band is effective for suppressing electromagnetic noise in the GHz band.
