Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) In recent years, the clock frequency of signals has been used in the GHz band for high-speed processing of large volumes of data such as PCs, smartphones, and information devices, and parallel differential lines have been used for signal wiring. For the parallel lines, meander patterns that bend the wiring to match the wiring length are used. In this study, to create the database of line patter used in board design, the transmission characteristics of meander patterns are analyzed. The model in which the distance between the straight line and the edge of the board is changed, the model in which the number of meanders is changed, and the model in which the number of meanders and the amount of bending are changed are analyzed. The transmission characteristics of the straight line agreed between the experiment and the analysis. When the distance between the line and the board edge is reduced, Sdd21 does not change and Scd21 increased. When comparing the straight line and the meander line, the attenuation of the meander line Sdd21 increases at frequencies higher than 13.5 GHz, and the common mode conversion of the Scd21 increases in all frequency bands. When the number of meanders was increased, the signal attenuation increased. When the bending length of the meanders pattern is increased, the signal attenuation increased.
