If a system of linear equations with nonnegativity constraints has a solution then it can be considered as a constrained consensus problem and thus can be solved in a distributed manner using the projected consensus algorithm. In this report, we consider systems of linear equations with nonnegativity constraints that do not necessarily have a solution, and propose a projected consensus-based algorithm that minimizes the maximum error in a distributed manner. The validity of the proposed algorithm is confirmed by numerical experiments. |
