A study on three-dimensional reconstruction using a scanning laser range finder and a spherical camera

(in English) In this study, we attempt to reconstruct a 3D structure by synthesizing 3D point cloud obtained with a combination of a scanning laser range finder, a rotation mechanism by a servo and images obtained by a spherical camera.Here, if the estimation accuracy of the relative attitude of the range finder with respect to the servo mechanism is low, the shape of the 3D point cloud will be distorted. Also, if the estimation accuracy of the relative attitude of the camera to the servo mechanism is low, the point cloud is colored unnaturally. We present an automatic correction method for these problems and describe a 3D reconstruction method based on 3D point clouds and camera images that acquired at multiple positions.
