SMArch: Software Architecture for Smart Mobility

(in English) In this article, the authors present SMArch, a software architecture for smart mobility services which tend to evolve continuously due to the highly competive market. SMArch is defined by extending a system architecture for ITS released by five ministries relating to the ITS. Five ministries' architecture handles road traffic only; thus, SMArch defines links other than roads and vehicles other than cars additionaly to handle various mobilities in a unified manner. Moreover, SMArch models both geographic movement and other services such as lodging and foods as services and introduces a concept of the service path that captures a travel as a set of services to be provided on the way. Smart mobility services are provided by service cordinating agents in the SMArch and requests to the agents are given by the service path query language which is designed based on the above mentioned architecture.
