| (in English) | A satisfactory experience at playing a musical instrument depends on (1) having a music score and (2) appropriate music ensemble members, but these are not always available for a song that a user wants to play. To satisfy these requirements, we have been working on techniques to (1) analyze a musical audio signal to generate an appropriate music score and (2) analyze the user's performance to provide an automatic accompaniment that matches the user's performative intents. This talk introduces some of our recent work in these areas, along with applications. | |
